This is a list of the PD I attended up until 2019. Since this time, one major focus has been learning how to utilize Toddle for planning, assigning, assessing, and reporting. Teaching online for two years during the pandemic developed in my digital creativity, website design skills, Canva, Newsela, and other applications. I'm looking forward to more professional development, as it is important to keep learning and growing!

  • Making Maths Visual & Fun: place value mats to show operations, extensive bar model practice to solve word problems, and card games to make 10 and more.

  • Math "Mess Abouts" as a provocation is my favorite part!

  • Making it conceptual and having small groups has had a huge impact

  • Daily focused phonics, reading fluency, and handwriting lessons have been powerful
