Saika grew up in Japan, but has been spending most of her adult life overseas; the United States, Singapore, and India. During her time in Singapore, she developed a deep appreciation for Hawaiian Hula. She has performed at Singapore's famous Esplanade with her hula team and several other venues as well (see photo left). 

Now, Saika teaches students Hula in Stonehill International School as part of her ASA program. 

Saika entered the teaching world to explore her passion. She values building strong relationships with her students. Students know that Saika truly cares, which has consistently led to so many successful learning journey together over her years of teaching experience.
