PYP EXHIBITION

This was a fantastic year of growth for me as a teacher. It was my first year in upper elementary, teaching Year 6 (Grade 5) students. I team-taught with two other highly qualified teachers and we collaborated on so many things. As such, we learned a lot from each other and the children received a very rich learning experience.

This is a map of the exhibition I created. We had three main visiting areas; the evidence rooms (student journals spread out on long tables), the process room (The entire Exhibition process displayed over 9 display boards covering what we did for each of the 9 weeks), and the Creation Stations (students' creative elements spanning the entire Main Hall). This was highly interactive and importance on the learning process was celebrated, as was action taken.
